Project 365 - 2011

A new year, and a new crack at the photo 365 project.

The afternoon New Years Levee at the Petersons' is becoming an annual tradition.

The first picture of me and Deron of the new year. I took it with an extended arm, and was talking to someone who offered to take the photo for us. I told him it was okay, and I could do it. The photo looks good except for the fact that my mouth was open because of the talking. :(

Deron spent some time playing mouse trap with the kids at the party.

It snowed ALL day today. I cuddled up in the basement with a fire, but I did have to go out briefly. thankfully I only got the car stuck once. while we were outside Deron and I thought it would be a good idea to shove some snow, and Nicky had a great time playing in the show that is as deep as he is tall.

We went out for Robbie Burns night and had a really good time, even though we were all r-e-a-l-l-y tired. by the end of the night, as Crystal and I were waiting impatiently for chocolate cake I started getting giddy and tried to throw ice into Deron's beer. He wanted to make sure he protected it from being diluted.

Deron bought a new computer after having totally wrecked his old system. He's trying to fit the old hard drive and wireless card into the new system.

Deron was confused with the individual cheese that wasn't in string form.

After our grocery shopping, and trip to bulk barn Deron decided to conquer the snow hill.

My two favourite guys :)

I was waiting for the bus today after work and was wishing that I had my camera with me to take photos of everyone supper bundled up while they were waiting for the bus. It was -40 with the wind chill, but everyone was still out and about. In Saskatchewan, the cities don't shut down for cold weather. Unfortunately, I had my camera at home so that photo op was missed.

I guess, though, it's not a bad thing to start off this journey with a photo of Deron and Nicky.
