Becky called me out of the blue this afternoon and asked what I was doing for supper. She was in Regina with a friend and wanted to see me and Deron. We decided to go to Spices of Punjab and the food was FANTASTIC. Deron and Becky like spicy food, so we got super spicy vindaloo as well as some less spicy butter chicken, rice, veggies, and much more. Unfortunately I tried some of the vindaloo and it made my nose run and my mouth burn. All the rest of the food tasted super spicy until I was able to get rid of the vindaloo taste. Despite that burning sensation, the food was still GREAT and I would recommend it to everyone.

I hope Becky comes back to visit again soon because with her living in Meadow Lake I sure do miss her.

Nicky is a big suck. He loves to come up on the sofa and cuddle with me and/or Deron. I love the comfort of sitting on the couch, watching tv and petting my dog.

I finished my beach bag! I totally love it. I hope that it won't stretch too much once it is filled with wet towels and beach toys, but only time will tell. I am sure I will get lots of use out of it at Coldwell this year. And it was a great way to get some use out of some t-shirts that I would never wear again.

It has a drawstring and handles, so it can be used in a couple of different ways. This is really the first thing I have ever crocheted, so it's even more exciting to have completed a project like this.

I am off work on Mondays, and it's a good think I was home this Monday because there was LOTS of snow to clear. It was actually kind of fun to be outside shoveling because I saw 4 other people out at the same time. It was a bit of a winter community gathering. :)

The guy on the corner used his snowblower to clear most of the block across the street, too bad he didn't come across to my side ;)

It snowed ALL day today. I cuddled up in the basement with a fire, but I did have to go out briefly. thankfully I only got the car stuck once. while we were outside Deron and I thought it would be a good idea to shove some snow, and Nicky had a great time playing in the show that is as deep as he is tall.

We went out for Robbie Burns night and had a really good time, even though we were all r-e-a-l-l-y tired. by the end of the night, as Crystal and I were waiting impatiently for chocolate cake I started getting giddy and tried to throw ice into Deron's beer. He wanted to make sure he protected it from being diluted.

The No Prorogation rally had a GREAT turnout. We counted over 350 people, even though the local media reported either over 100 or nearly 200 depending on the media outlet. Thankfully, not all of the national coverage was was as biased as it was in Regina.

These photos are from the set up before the rally. I didn't get any from the actual event because I was MCing.
